Training of Trainers

Yesterday, Monday 9th February 2026, marked the start of the second group of the Training of Trainers at the Seychelles Police Academy. Over the next five days, dedicated officers are engaged in a structured programme aimed at strengthening leadership, professionalism, and instructional capacity.
The training includes adult learning principles, effective communication, lesson planning, facilitation methods, assessment techniques, and ethical instructional practices, equipping officers with the skills and confidence to deliver impactful training. This initiative is a continuation of grooming officers to become competent trainers, ensuring the development of a new generation of police officers and a strong pool of future instructors.
