Seychelles Police Force – Annual Strategic Overview Session

The Seychelles Police Force convened its Annual Strategic Overview Session at the TGMI Classroom, bringing together senior leadership, officers, and civilian staff for structured reflection and engagement in preparation of the Seychelles Police Strategic Plan 2026–2028.

The session was officially opened by the Commissioner of Police, who underscored the importance of collective ownership, leadership responsibility, and inclusive participation in shaping the future direction of the Force. He highlighted that the Strategic Plan for 2026–2028 will be grounded in operational realities, evidence-based assessment, and contributions from officers and staff across all ranks, units, and islands.

The Annual Strategic Overview Session forms part of an ongoing strategic planning process that includes engagements conducted on Mahé and Praslin, as well as inputs from Visible Policing, CID, administrative and support services, and civilian staff. These engagements aim to ensure that the Strategic Plan reflects the realities of modern policing in Seychelles and responds to the expectations of the public.

During the session, participants were engaged in structured discussions and exchanges intended to identify strengths, challenges, and priorities that will guide the Force over the next three years. The outcomes of these discussions will directly inform the development of the Strategic Plan 2026–2028.
