World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day was observed at the Seychelles Police Academy with a touching reminder that hope plays a vital role in the lives of those living with cancer. On this meaningful occasion, police recruits came together to express compassion and solidarity, proving that beyond strength and discipline, there is also humanity and care.
In a touching gesture, the recruits imprinted their hands on a T-shirt and wrote messages of encouragement for a cancer patient close to them, who has been bravely fighting the disease for the past five years.
Deeply moved by the act of kindness, the patient shared their gratitude and expressed deep appreciation.
This moment highlighted how simple gestures can bring comfort, strength and hope to those facing the hardest of journeys.
