Honoring Long Service Officers and Civilian Staff of the Seychelles Police Force.

Long service employers represent the backbone of any organization. The Seychelles Police Force acknowledge a second batch of Officers and Civilian staff for their long years of dedicated service.  In an era where career paths frequently change, long service Police Officers and Civilian Staff in the Seychelles Police Force stand as a powerful symbol of loyalty and perseverance. Their years of commitment reflect a deep sense of duty, shaped by challenges, growth, and unwavering service. Their experience not only strengthens operational effectiveness but also inspires younger generations to uphold the same standards of excellence.

At the forefront of this Second Honoring Ceremony, held on 31 December 2025, is the longest-serving officers and civilian staff , who has dedicated 35 years of exemplary service:

  • Micheline Hoareau ( Administrative Officer)
  • Sergeant Peggy Khan
  • Sergeant Louina Didon
  • Sergeant Rita Sophola

Following closely in years of service are officers recognized for 30 years of dedicated service:

  • Deputy Commissioner of Police Francis Songoire
  • Superintendent Mike Monthy
  • Assistant superintendent Amy Ramon Barbra Denis
  • Sergeant Alois Bristol
  • Sergeant Denise Servina
  • Corporal Bernard Mathew Dookley

The Seychelles Police Force also appreciate and acknowledge the fifthy three (53) Police Officers along with nine (9) Sensitive Security Officers for the 10 years devoted services. During the ceremony, retired Administrative Assistant Mrs. Lucy Edmond was also recognized and compensated for her ten years of dedicated service.

The Commissioner of Police congratulate the Officers and Civilian staff for their dedication and resilience. He further stated that serving for many years is not merely a measure of time but a testament to resilience and sacrifice. He recognized that the Officers and staff have worked through changing policies, leadership transitions, and evolving challenges. Thus, their sustained commitment often requires personal sacrifice, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility, qualities that define true professionalism.

Acknowledging  long service Officers and Civilian staff  is not simply about honoring years served, but about valuing the experience, integrity, and dedication that continue to shape the future of the Seychelles Police Force.
