Speaking at the ceremony, Inspector Andrew Sinon, Commander of the Marine Police Unit, commended the participants for their efforts:
“You are part of history. By completing this training, you have shown resilience, determination, and respect for the maritime profession. The Seychelles Marine Police is proud to stand alongside you as you take this knowledge forward. Remember, discipline and integrity will guide you wherever this journey leads.”
Over the course of the training, students received instruction in key areas, including:
- Basic Navigation
- Maritime Law
- Physical Training & Drill
- Water Survival
The program was delivered under the guidance of SI Killindo, PC P. Lajoie, Sergeant Robert, and Sergeant Hoareau, who ensured a high standard of learning and practical exposure throughout.
The Seychelles Police Force commends all students for their commitment and dedication and looks forward to further collaborations with the Maritime School in strengthening the skills and readiness of future maritime professionals.
