Specialized Training in Rwanda

Today, a team of 10 Police Officers from the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) departed the country to attend a six-month Advanced Police Special Forces Training in Rwanda.
 
This marks the second group of officers leaving for Rwanda under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Seychelles Police Force and the Rwanda National Police.
 
The training program is designed to enhance officers’ capacity in specialized areas such as:
 
  • Minor tactics and special operations
  • Martial arts and combative techniques
  • Public order management
  • Basic first aid skills
  • Community policing
 
The Seychelles Police Force wishes the officers all the best as they embark on this intensive and professional development journey, which will further strengthen national security and the Force’s operational readiness.
