Police get new deputy commissioners

The Office of the Commissioner of Police has announced that the President has approved the appointment of Romano Songor and Ted Barbe as deputy Commissioner of Police.

Mr Songor and Mr Barbe are former NDEA Deputy Chief Officer to the now new Commissioner of Police Kishnan Labonte.

 

In the same breath the same office has announced that as of yesterday, Benjamin Zab, a former Superintendent and Jack Valentin, a former Assistant Superintendent, have re-joined the Force, both as Superintendents.

It is anticipated that a few more seasoned ex-officers could be on their way back in the Force as from early next year.

These new development forms part of the reorganisation process of the Police Force.
