THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE ON OFFICIAL VISIT TO RWANDA.

The Commissioner of Police Mr Godfra Hermitte, is currently on an official work visit in Rwanda, where he is actively engaging in initiatives aimed at strengthening regional policing cooperation and capacity building.
As part of his mission, the Commissioner is today assisting in the graduation ceremony of the first ever Cadet Officers Course in Rwanda, marking a significant milestone in police training and development. A total of nine officers from the Seychelles Police Force are among those graduating. Additionally, another group of specialized officers will graduate tomorrow in a separate field, further enhancing the technical capabilities of the force.
Key Focus Areas of the Visit:
●Strengthening Seychelles’ role in the Chairmanship of EAPCCO.
●Expanding training opportunities and exchange programmes.
●Enhancing police capabilities and operational effectiveness
Promoting community policing initiatives.
●Encouraging youth involvement in crime detection and prevention.
This visit reflects the continued commitment of the Seychelles Police Force to invest in professional development, regional collaboration, and modern policing strategies
