Welcoming our newly certified ESAAMLG Assessor, Sergeant Emmanuel Perreau

As of 3rd October 2025, the Seychelles Police Force proudly welcomes its newly certified ESAAMLG Assessor, Sergeant Emmanuel Perreau, who will play a vital role in supporting Seychelles efforts to align with international standards and recommendations.
 
As a Certified Assessor, Sergeant Perreau will be responsible for evaluating countries’ compliance with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendations assessing both technical compliance (the existence of appropriate laws, regulations, and frameworks) and effectiveness (how well these measures function in practice).
 
Through this certification, obtained from the training held in Ethiopia, Sergeant Perreau will not only contribute to strengthening Seychelles’ Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regime but will also be qualified to participate in regional assessment missions.
